What is The Mythical Meadow’s deposit policy for securing the date and the overall payment schedule?
The Mythical Meadow will secure your date on our event calendar upon receipt of your 50% deposit with your signed contract. This is our assurance, and likewise, the event host’s, that we are committing to handling your event arrangements and will reserve the date, time and requested rentals.
All events are custom-order, and can include orchestrating both floral and outside rentals and miscellaneous decor; therefore, in addition to your 50% deposit, The Mythical Meadow requests a $200.00 non-refundable administration fee to be paid at time of booking. This fee may be an explicitly detailed item on the invoice, or it may be implied as part of the deposit.
The final balance is due four (4) weeks before the wedding date. All payments beyond the non-refundable administration fee are subject to cancellation policy shown below.
What is The Mythical Meadow’s event cancellation policy?
If you wish to amend quantities, or cancel your event, after having signed your contract and paid a deposit and the non-refundable administration fee, you must submit your requests in writing.
If quantities are amended upwards at any time after the contract is signed, all extras must be paid for in full, immediately.
If quantities are amended lower prior to four (4) weeks before the date, the lower cost will be entirely reflected in your final balance.
Also, please pay special attention to potential fees that may remain given your time of amending quantities lower, or cancellation.
Specifically, if you choose to lower your quantities, or cancel, between three (3) – six (6) weeks prior to your event date, you are responsible for payment in full for any applicable outside rentals and miscellaneous decor.
Further, if you choose to lower your quantities, or cancel within three (3) weeks of your event date, you may be responsible for up to 100% of your floral order, plus payment in full for any applicable outside rentals and miscellaneous decor, if The Mythical Meadow has already ordered your flowers and custom decor and the order(s) cannot be cancelled.
In the event of a complete cancellation within three (3) weeks of your event date, please be aware that your $200 non-refundable administration fee will be forfeit.
N.B. While The Mythical Meadow endeavors to fulfil special rentals, miscellaneous decor, and floral requests, reasonable substitutions may be made, up to at least the value of the item(s) being substituted for, in the event of last minute unavailability.
